It's A Boy!
Well, he has finally arrived and I am pretty sure this blog is going to have a whole new focus!
Braden Michael Oslin was born on July 5th at 10:00 PM. It was even more special, because he was born on his late Great Grandfather's birthday - Harold Dubay. He weighed 9 lbs, 1 oz (was not expecting that one) and was 22 inches long. He arrived just shy of 24 hours from the time my water broke (11 PM - July 4th). He was briefly greeted by family members around 11 PM, and then Mike and I tried to get some much needed rest. Because I certainly did not sleep much the night before - anticipating his arrival!
Here are a few photos - including his "0" onesies and I look forward to posting about his monthly birthdays and accomplishments!

Finally Finished!
Well, after two years I have FINALLY finished scrapbooking all of the amazing wedding photos. I have also neatly organized the extra photos into different albums. I really did not think it would be possible - thought it would be left unfinished forever, but I have had some time on my hands waiting for Baby Oslin to arrive! So, two full albums later, 88 pages, and starting from the engagement and ending with the reception - I am happy with the final product. Here are just a few of my favorite pages.

Waiting...
Summer vacation officially started Friday (June 17th) afternoon. It was a long and emotional few days, so I took the weekend to rest up and relax. Now, I am just trying to find little projects to keep me busy (yet rested) until Baby Oslin arrives!
The house is clean and ready to go, I have finished 3 books, made some curtains, prepared a few frozen meals and have done a little bit of scrapbooking. Tomorrow I may try to tackle the many crates I brought home from my classroom. My goal is to eventually organize everything and put them in labeled totes, so that they don't get destroyed! But, that would also require organizing the basement, so that I have a place to store said totes...
Curtains for the upstairs bathroom. Not quite the color I wanted - oh well!
Curtains for the guest bedroom!
Some scrapbooking & my classroom stuff to be organized...
