New Product?
I attempted a new craft last night that could potentially become a new product on Etsy. I definitely need more practice to get the edges right and make the finished product look a little neater. I will just have to make a few more and pass them on to friends/family as gifts before I try to sell them.

Vacation Update
April vacation was very low key and relaxing. It started off with a dinner date with Sarah and Cam and then Mike headed to NY to visit Kelly for the weekend. On Monday, I headed north to spend some time in Hampden with Mom, Ashlea and Eva. Then I had a few lunch dates through out the week and ended vacation celebrating Easter with family! The week went by way too fast - and I am sure the rest of the school year will go by just as quickly!

Etsy Expansion
I have now added a few new items to my Etsy shop. Yesterday I worked on two different sets of the wooden letters for names - similar to those I made for the wedding (Oslin). I think I will work on one more 7-8 letter set and then see how well they sell. I may also look into doing a couple of local craft fairs this spring to stir up some business. We shall see! Go ahead and check it out: Watch Me Grow
Just in case you were wondering these are random names I thought of and have nothing to do with Baby Oslin!

10 weeks (or so) to go...
We officially reached 30 weeks today! Three quarters of the way there! I know that once April vacation is over the school year is going to fly by. Then it will just be a waiting game until Baby Oslin arrives. There is still plenty to do before then (like pick out names)??!! Here are a few belly pictures that people have been asking about.

Nursery Projects
About two months ago for girls night we went to Firefly pottery and I made a tile that I thought could work in the nursery. I liked it so much that I went back two more times to make more. I would like to go one more time to make it a set of four tiles that I can put up on the walls somewhere in the room. I am thinking about maybe creating an elephant for the last one.
Also over the last week I have been working away on the twin quilt that will go on the bed in the nursery. I am very happy with the product so far! I just need to make a quick trip to Joann's tomorrow to pick up more fabric for the back and it will be finished! Now what to do for curtains?
On a side note I am thinking about adding to my Etsy store. I am thinking about selling the decorated wooden letters like what I made for Eva and for our wedding cake table (Oslin). So, tomorrow I am planning on making a few different sets of those and see how it goes.

Sewing Up a Storm
Last weekend I brought the sewing machine up from the basement and decided to work on a few projects. I finally finished a quilt for my mom (which I started in Dec. 2006). Merry Christmas! Then I decided to make some curtains for our bedroom. It is amazing how much homier the room looks now.
I also purchased some fabric to make a twin quilt for the bed in the nursery. But, that project will have to wait for a little bit, because I had three Etsy orders to complete this weekend. That was a lot of cutting, ironing and sewing. I think I am going to need a little break!
